The World Often Denies Your Pain
They don’t know what it’s like to flinch when you read the headlines.
Or how those anti-Semitic jokes make your stomach drop.
It’s exhausting…
Always explaining who you are.
Or hiding who you are.
Or wonder what kind of looks you might get if you’re “too Jewish” in certain company.
You Don’t Feel Fully Seen
Because you have to be the “right amount of Jewish” just to fit in.
Softening the parts you feel are “too much.”
Staying quiet in rooms that don’t understand how hard it’s been lately.
It makes you feel anxious.
And alone.
But You’re Not – Heal with a Jewish Therapist
Hi, I’m Megan
I started my career in research – two years at Johns Hopkins and nearly a decade at the NIH. That background grounds me in science and neuroscience. But healing isn’t just data. It’s human. It’s personal.
Jewish people often carry trauma that words can’t capture. The body remembers – even the pain of generations before us. And in the last two years, the constant headlines and unchecked comments have left many of us in a state of chronic alert. That’s why I use brain-based, bottom-up tools that calm the nervous system where talk therapy alone can’t reach.
I’m also Jewish – and parenting a Jewish child. I know what it feels like to be “too much” in one space and “not enough” in another. In my therapy room, you don’t have to explain or shrink yourself. You get to be fully you. My role is to hold a safe space for all of it – so you can finally put the weight down and begin to heal.
When You Feel Seen, You’ll Finally Start to Heal
Regulate Your Body
1
We begin with tools like meditation, EMDR resource building, or vagus nerve stimulation to calm hyperarousal and help you feel safe in your skin.
Name and Untangle the Pain
2
When you’re ready, we bring words to the feelings. Naming them reduces shame and clears the fog so you can finally see the patterns holding you back.
Rebuild From the Ground Up
3
Together, we’ll shift thoughts, strengthen boundaries, and rework old narratives. You’ll create space for relationships, choices, and a life that feels fully yours.
Here’s What That Looks Like
✓ Sleep deeply, free from fear tugging you awake.
✓ Engage in conversations feeling grounded, not reactive.
✓ Quiet the anxiety that has been running your life.
✓ Claim a safe space where your whole self belongs.
✓ Reconnect with your sense of peace, calm, and stability.
What Others Are Saying

I now feel safe with my thoughts and no longer see myself as a burden.”
“I was always rescuing others, but through parts work I realized it was my inner child who needed rescuing.
The urgency disappeared, and I can now engage with my loved ones in a healthy way.”
